A reminder - Evolutionary inference depends on records whose structure remains clear from import to figure. Tidy Data, Visualisation, and AI is a 2-day seminar livestreaming September 21–22 with Flavio Lombardo (Institute for Statistical and Data Science). Tidy data principles and reproducible graphics can help evolutionary researchers prepare observational and genetic datasets for analysis. Participants diagnose inconsistent codes and missing-value markers, then recode and reshape data with dplyr and tidyr. They also build ggplot2 figures that can communicate variation, comparisons, and patterns in manuscripts or supplementary materials.
