Dear colleagues, We are pleased to announce our upcoming online course Introduction to RNA-seq Data Analysis with R/Bioconductor, taking place on November 9, 11, 13, 16, 17 and 18. Online sessions: 15:00–18:00 Berlin time (CET) Course website: https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/course19/ This practical course is designed for biologists and bioinformaticians who want to develop the statistical skills needed to analyse high-throughput genomic and transcriptomic data. Starting from the fundamentals of statistical analysis in R, participants will progressively work through key steps of genomic data analysis, including hypothesis testing, data visualization, genomic region analysis, RNA-seq data processing, differential expression, and gene set analysis. The course combines clear introductions to the underlying statistical concepts with hands-on exercises in R and Bioconductor, providing participants with practical experience using widely used tools and packages such as DESeq2 and edgeR.
