A reminder - Comparative research benefits from evidence about how survey measures function. Measuring Latent Variables with Questionnaires is a 2-day seminar livestreaming September 30 and October 2 with Bert Weijters (Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, Ghent University). Measurement invariance and confirmatory factor analysis can test whether questionnaire constructs support defensible evolutionary and genetics comparisons. Participants will evaluate factor structure, reliability, response biases, and ordinal items in R. These skills can assist research on attitudes toward evolution, genetic literacy, perceived ancestry, and reported biological beliefs.
