A reminder - Explore statistical approaches for connecting genetic variation with evolutionary research questions. Advanced Statistical Methods for Genetic Association Studies is a 2-day seminar livestreaming September 8 and 10 with Jingjing Yang (School of Medicine, Emory University). Use genotype quality control, mixed-model association tests, and population-structure correction in analyses of genetic variation. Compare molecular QTL mapping, co-localization, Mendelian Randomization, and TWAS approaches while assessing their assumptions. Develop reproducible R, Python, and Bash workflows for documenting evolutionary genetic analyses and interpreting polygenic signals.
