Evolutionary studies increasingly depend on practical access to sequencing analysis workflows. Accessible Bioinformatics for Windows Users is a 2-day seminar livestreaming October 2 and 6, led by Andres Zhou Tsang (Adelaide University). Configure a Windows-based bioinformatics environment with WSL and use Linux tools alongside native applications. Process sequencing data through basecalling, genome assembly, alignment, annotation, and RNA-seq differential expression workflows. Apply these methods to evolutionary and genetic questions using data generated on a Windows computer.
