Clemson University postdoc position in evolutionary genomics in the CapituLab The CapituLab focuses on understanding molecular mechanisms underlying evolution and development in the sunflower family (Asteraceae). The lab’s interests span across diverse fields of plant biology. These include molecular and developmental biology, genomics, genetics, microscopy and comparative anatomy/morphology. We are a training focused lab centered around expanding skillsets of the members of our group as well as toolkits for the broader plant functional genetic community. For more information about the CapituLab, please visit the website https://www.thecapitulab.com/. Qualifications Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field. Candidates must also have a documented record of excellence in genomic research. The ideal candidate will have experience in plant molecular and genomic techniques (including common library preparation methods). Experience in advanced computational analyses with relevant programming language knowledge (i.e. command line, R, python, etc). Preferred: experience in HybSeq target capture methods.
