The Odum School of Ecology (https://ecology.uga.edu/) is seeking applicants for a M.S. position in the research group of Dr. John Wares (www.wareslab.net) in partnership with US Forest Service Research & Development. Research project will be partially defined by funding source and region, with a focus on freshwater mussels in the Great Lakes region; the project may incorporate comparative work with freshwater mussels/habitats in the southeastern US. Pre-applications required by October 1, and candidates will be notified of suitability by October 16, 2026.
