Conference: George Washington U, DC. Species Interactions & Evolution. Oct24 Species Interactions & Evolution Meeting: A regional meeting to be held at George Washington University, DC, on Saturday October 24th, 2026. Registration is free here: https://forms.gle/mwXxeVFzmqykRXNj6. The goal of this meeting is to bring together researchers working at the intersection of species interactions and evolution, broadly defined. We hope to provide a low-cost opportunity to share research and ideas around this topic, and to meet others working in the field. All are welcome, and we plan to emphasize presentations by students and postdocs as much as possible. The meeting is only “regional” in the sense that we hope many will be able to attend by traveling relatively short distances via carpooling and public transportation. The meeting format will be a day of short talks with afternoon posters and evening social. Overnight stay is encouraged, to make the most of the afternoon and evening program, but not necessary. Organized by the Powell Lab (GW) and the Hembry Lab (JMU). Questions? Contact scottpowell@gwu.edu. (to subscribe/unsubscribe the EvolDir send mail to evoldir@evoldir.net)
