Registration is now open for the Keystone Symposia Conference "Transposable Elements: From Evolution to Engineering" https://www.keystonesymposia.org/conferences/conference-listing/meeting/C22027 to be held on March 15-18, 2027 at the Beaver Run Conference Center in Breckenridge, CO, USA. The meeting will cover all aspects of transposon biology, including but not limited to evolutionary comparative genomics and epigenomics, structural and mechanistic aspects of transposition and genome defense, interactions with the host under normal and pathological conditions, and applications in genome editing and engineering. The deadline for talk abstract submission and scholarship applications is November 17, 2026, and the discounted early registration deadline is January 13, 2027. We have over 30 available slots for short talks selected from submitted abstracts. Please share this information with interested colleagues and trainees who have a transposon story of any kind.
